US ETF inflows reached a historic $1 trillion in 2025, marking 41 consecutive months of growth as investors pivot from mutual funds to cost-efficient alternatives. Bond and gold ETFs surged amid inflation concerns, while Asia's crypto ETF market—led by Hong Kong and Singapore—expanded aggressively.

State Street Investment Management reports total US ETF assets hit $12.7 trillion by September, with year-end inflows projected at $1.4 trillion. "Market corrections may slow momentum but won't reverse the structural shift," says Matt Bartolini of State Street, underscoring demand for transparent, flexible portfolio tools.
